Steven Triantafillis is the founder, frontman and soul behind My Excuse, an alternative modern rock band from Greece. They were formed in 2003 released their first self titled album with Universal Music. In 2010 they released the single “Is it Over Now”, produced by Ron St Germain who has participated in several Grammy awarded projects (Tool, Soundgarden,Muse, 311, Creed). The single saw huge success and established them as the premiere rock band in Greece and one of the up and coming bands in Europe. In July 2012 My Excuse arrived in New York for their first US tour where they completed a series of live performances in New York City, New Jersey and Detroit. They spent a few weeks in the studio with Ron St Germain recording their new album. On July 11, 2012, they released their first international single “Silent Revolution.” The track is part of their album, All I’ve Become, produced by Ron St Germain. Having successfully funded their Kickstarter project in February 2013, My Excuse returned to North America for their first complete US Tour. They played more than 30 live performances in some of the largest cities such as New York, Miami, Charlotte, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Toronto. My Excuse also performed at Millennium Music Conference and Canadian Music Week with raving reviews. In May 2013 My Excuse announce the release of their second album “All I’ve Become”. The recording of their new album was completed during their US tour in the summer of 2012 and produced by Ron St Germain. The album title represents all the years spent and the efforts made to get to where they are. “All I’ve Become” is released internationally through iTunes by Terret Entertainment. For the next two years the band tours Greece and a few European countries in preparation for their next US Tour. In March 2015 they kick off their eleven month US Tour in Austin, TX with four appearances at SXSW including the McDonald’s Music Sessions.

Nikolas Semertzis

Nikolas Semertzis holds a BA degree in finance and management from the American College of Thessaloniki. Five years ago he started working for Volkswagen Bank Hellas as a Business Manager, then in 2013 he left Greece to work in London, UK, and recently he returned to Thessaloniki, his hometown. Now he holds the position of the Area Sales Representative within Volkswagen Bank Hellas. Furthermore he has been awarded twice for his performance (Branch worldwide for Credit Protection Insurance penetration award & Best promotion idea for MINI Cars Sales in Greece for the program “Excellence in Sales 2009”).

Tarek Kouatly has more than 10 years of experience in marketing & sales, mostly acquired in the fields of higher education and media (radio). Tarek holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and an MBA from the American College of Thessaloniki. He has extensive experience in higher education administration, primarily focusing on enrollment. The last two years he is leading the Marketing & Enrollment of the American College of Thessaloniki. In the past he worked with Nokia in Dubai (UAE) (Key Account Manager) and with leading radio stations in Thessaloniki, as Marketing / Promotions Executive (Star FM, Imagine FM), while he set-up and run his own online businesses (mylist.gr, myteachers.gr).

Evita Gantina

Evita Gantina was born in Thessaloniki and has more than twenty years’ experience in senior positions in Greek and International companies. She holds an MA in Business Communication and Public Relations and BBA Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Houston. For several years she was a member of the Board of Directors and/or an owner or senior manager of companies in the textile manufacturing industry. Since 2001 she teaches at tertiary level also becoming the Executive Director of a College in Thessaloniki. She left the College in 2011 to become a partner in “For Communication” a Marketing Consulting Firm.
